Tottenham Hotspur’s Radu Drăgușin can’t escape Italian transfer talk, even if his agent doesn’t push it so much any longer.
In an interview two days ago, the Romanian centre-back’s agent Florin Manea played down the talk of an exit from Spurs, even though he made clear interest from Juventus and Napoli is flattering.
Tuttomercatoweb have reported on Drăgușin today, stating that even though Napoli and Juve are looking at the 22-year-old, they might not be able to afford him.
Tottenham want a price tag of €30m, according to TMW, to be met in January and they have no intention of loaning him out. They also do not want to register a capital loss in their accounts by selling him for a lower fee.
Even that 30m seems unrealistic in reality. Such a price would be reasonable from Tottenham for Drăgușin, and there’s no reasons why Spurs should be helpful to other clubs.
Drăgușin has started the club’s past two games in the absence of Micky van de Ven, who is out injured.
