With Bayern Munich doubling down to sign Harry Kane, and the England international seemingly convinced about leaving Tottenham this summer, Spurs are taking preventive steps so as not to be left naked.

This is courtesy of Foot Mercato in France, who claim the London side have placed Dušan Vlahović ‘right at the top of their list’ in case their star striker is sold.

It’s made clear that regardless of the fact that Fabio Paratici has left the club, Tottenham still have a ‘very good relationship’ with Juventus, following the deals for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski,

Down the Serie A side’s end, Foot Mercato have reportedly been told that selling Vlahovic would be preferred to the exits of Federico Chiesa and Gleison Bremer, which is a bonus for Spurs.

Valued at €70m by Juventus, the Serbia international has tickled Tottenham’s fancy, who have been interested in him for ‘a few years’.

That’s why it was logical for the Serie A side to ‘probe’ those at the top of the north London club to see if they were interested.

While they are, everything is frozen for now because of the Harry Kane situation, who would be the first domino to fall in a long line of transfers.

This would ‘accelerate’ a few other moves, which is why Tottenham are getting everything ready ahead of time to try and ‘burn Paris Saint-Germain’ to the forward.

As per a tweet by the journalist who wrote this report, Valentin Feuillette, the summary is that Vlahovic is the ‘priority’ at Spurs should Kane leave and there has been ‘contact’ between the two clubs for the striker valued at €70m.
