Christian Eriksen was unsuccessful in his efforts to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, despite publicly stating he wanted a new challenge in June.
The Denmark international’s current deal with Spurs will run down in 2020 and earlier reports suggested the Champions League winners want to retain him beyond this season.
Calciomercato now claims the former Ajax man has not changed his mind and still wants to leave the north London club.
Tottenham made another renewal offer, but the player doesn’t want to extend. The Italian website doesn’t provide any details about the new offer, but states Eriksen is in the sights of Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Real Madrid were one of the clubs linked with the 27-year-old in the summer. On September 27th, El Desmarque reported José Ángel Sánchez, Florentino Pérez’s right-hand man, travelled to London to discuss a potential January transfer for the player.
If Tottenham fail to offload Eriksen in January, they could risk losing him for nothing next summer.
