Isco and Real Madrid’s relationship has been an interesting one over the past few years, as the once beloved prodigy has found life increasingly difficult of late.

Struggling to get any game time under Santiago Solari, the Spain international thought he might be able to fight his way back into the team under Zinedine Zidane, but that hasn’t been the case.

On top of all this, Isco has to deal with recurring claims Real Madrid are after Christian Eriksen, which has led to El Desmarque saying he’s now ‘on the street’.

By that, they mean he’s been discarded completely, and they back that up with some strange claims that José Ángel Sánchez, Florentino Pérez’s right-hand man, has ‘already travelled to England secretly’ to discuss a potential January transfer for the Dane.

They say this comes from ‘the media’, although they don’t specify where, stating Tottenham ‘plans to let him go at a price of €30m’ so as to ensure they get some money for him instead of letting go on a free in the summer.

It’s all a bit strange, and worth taking with a pinch of salt for now, because we can’t find anything else on Sánchez travelling to London.

If you do, or if you spot him entering Tottenham’s headquarters, please let us know.
