Tottenham are set to finally complete the signing of Radu Drăgușin, after Bayern Munich tried to snatch the transfer from their clutches.
On Tuesday evening, we covered claims from Italy that the Bavarian club formulated a bid to beat Spurs in the race to sign the 21-year-old.
Gianluca Di Marzio provides the details of the offers tabled by both Tottenham and Bayern, and also the latest on this situation.
It’s claimed the Serie A side accepted the north London club’s of offer €24m plus €6m bonuses on Tuesday morning. As a part of the deal, Spurs are also ready to allow Djed Spence to join Genoa on loan.
Later that day, Bayern tabled an offer worth €31m [€25m + €6m bonuses], with better payment terms than the one proposed by Ange Postecoglou’s side. This was also accepted by Genoa and it’s now down to the centre-back to pick his next destination.
The journalist has taken to X, formerly Twitter, to provide the latest development in the last few minutes.
He claims Drăgușin ‘has chosen’ Tottenham and the details of the operation are set to be ‘formally sorted today’.
