Before the winter transfer window opened, Sandro Ramirez was linked strongly to Valencia, but the move was abandoned because the loan would have been high cost.
Everton weren’t about to let the former Malaga player go for free and weren’t keen on paying a chunk of his wages, so Valencia looked elsewhere and got Luciano Vietto from Atletico Madrid.
Since then Sandro has dropped down La Liga in terms of the clubs he’s been linked with. Villarreal and Sevilla were said to be interested, and now it’s Real Betis.
Estadio Deportivo report on Wednesday that Betis’ ‘priority’ right now is signing Sandro from Everton, and it’s believed he’d be worth the investment.
Sandro’s value could rise hugely if he moves to Betis and does well, so it could end up beneficial both on and off the pitch.
The Seville newspaper don’t pretend to know what Betis have offered Everton, so they refer to claims from England, and it’s then stated the Spanish club will ‘redesign their strategy to convince’ the Toffees over a deal.
