Fanatik report that after Stoke City landed Everton defender Ashley Williams on a season long loan deal, Fenerbahce’s chances of getting Bruno Martins Indi are now better.
According to Fanatik, Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu and the Turkish club’s sporting director Damien Comolli are working very hard to bring in the Stoke City defender.
We recently covered reports from the Turkish press that the Dutch centre-back is seen as a first-choice target for Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu, and the Istanbul club are doing everything they can in order to secure the player’s signature.
Martins Indi could leave Stoke City following the club’s relegation to the Championship and with Everton’s Williams at the club they can think about offloading the Netherlands international.
It’s claimed Cocu is trying to convince Martins Indi to move to Fenerbahce, whilst Comolli is conducting negotiations with Stoke City over a potential move.
The Turkish media outlet also claim Stoke City are only looking to loan Martins Indi and Fenerbahce have the same intention.
