On June 6th, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson has ‘already spoken’ to AC Milan over a potential summer move to the San Siro.

The winger’s deal expires at the end of this month and the Serie A side are trying to take him for free.

Calciomercato have picked up on the Rossoneri’s interest and add that ‘Milan don’t give up’ on the Arsenal player.

It’s claimed Stefano Pioli’s side have ‘presented an offer’ to the 23-year-old. This is going to be a ‘complicated’ operation for the Italian club because of the efforts made by Arsenal to retain him.

The Gunners have already made a renewal offer to the Englishman, who has ‘reached an agreement’ with them. The game is ‘still open’ because the report states he’s taken time to evaluate better offers.

Therefore, Calciomercato say Milan are still in the running to sign the Gunners attacker for free.

It’ll be interesting to see if Nelson will commit his future to Arsenal or break the deal which he agreed with them and join another club.
