Following the claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers are trying to sign André Silva in the summer, the Spanish press makes it clear there’s probably an open path for the Premier League side to do so.

Outlet El Desmarque brings a story today claiming that the player is unlikely to stay at Sevilla, where he’s loaned by Milan until the end of the season.

The website writes that unless there’s a ‘surprise’, the Spanish club will not be using the buying option to get Silva for around €39m.

As the player has failed to impress much this season, Sevilla would only get him permanently in case Milan offer a big discount for the striker, something which is unlikely to happen.

That’s why El Desmarque highlights the interest from Wolves, saying the information comes from the English press, and adding that the club’s good relationship with the striker’s agent Jorge Mendes could help in a deal.

But the outlet repeats that Milan want to make ‘as much money as possible’ with the sale, and there are other interested clubs, such as Marseille, Leicester City, Barcelona and Monaco.
