Wolverhampton Wanderers new signing Raul Jimenez is arriving at the club today, according to reports from the Portuguese press.
This Tuesday morning, newspaper Record claimed that the player would be arriving at the club in a few hours, joining the team after the tournament they played in Switzerland.
Record claims that in his last days of vacation, Jimenez had been in Lisbon, then went to Paris, and is now heading to Wolverhampton.
The Premier League side are reportedly paying €3m to have the player on loan for an year. In case they activate the buying option, then they will pay Benfica a €38m fee.
Raul Jimenez had longer vacations because he had been featuring in the World Cup for Mexico. But he only played 24 minutes against Germany and other 30 against Brazil, and couldn’t find the net in any of these games.
With Wolves also keeping Leo Bonatini in the squad, it will be interesting to see the battle for the centre forward position this season.
