Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed his side are working to sign Hakim Ziyech before the window closes on Tuesday.
The Blues have made several additions to their attacking division in the winter market and this has seen the 29-year-old look for a move elsewhere.
PSG have emerged as an option for the Chelsea player and he is likely to end up playing there in the second half of the season.
Montpellier face the French champions on Wednesday and during the pre-match press conference, Galtier was asked about transfers. This is when he spoke about the Morocco international.
“The transfer window, we will comment on it when it is closed. Today, telling you that up to three players will come… you have information. The president and Luis [Campos] are working on the transfer window,” he said, as quoted by Foot Mercato.
According to Foot Mercato, PSG are waiting to reach the final agreement with Chelsea for the former Ajax star’s transfer. Graham Potter’s side, meanwhile, have allowed Ziyech to travel to Paris so that he can undergo medical tests with the Ligue 1 winners.
With Galtier confirming his side’s interest and Chelsea allowing him to travel, Ziyech is expected to seal a move to PSG soon.
