“Replacement for Messi” – Manchester City secure themselves player with world at his feet

River Plate are enjoying the last months that Claudio Echeverri is having at the club, as he’ll soon depart for Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side have agreed to pay €18.5m to take him to England, and let him stay at the Buenos Aires side until December on a loan deal.
