Kylian Mbappe’s situation at PSG doesn’t seem the most peaceful right now, despite the France international agreeing to stay with the club in the summer.
He could have moved as a free agent, with many expecting him to join Real Madrid, but instead he continued with the Ligue 1 side. Even bigger wages were handed out and Mbappe was reportedly given extra power within the club.
Marca now bring a big transfer claim. The Spanish newspaper state Mbappe wants to leave PSG in January… but would only be allowed to join Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been linked previously, although the financial side of a deal would seem prohibitive for the Reds. That they’re currently in eighth position also looks to be a problem for Liverpool.
Marca say Mbappe’s relationship with PSG is completely broken, and he’s been informed that he won’t be allowed an exit to Real Madrid.
They present Liverpool as the other option but don’t give any further information on that. Given this is a breaking story there’s likely to be more claims in the coming hours.
