Still giving major coverage to Radu Dragusin’s transfer from Genoa to Tottenham Hotspur, the Romanian media today brings more claims about the defender’s future.

Dumitru Dragomir, former president of the Romanian League, is quoted by Fanatik speaking about Spurs’ new signing.

He claims that if Dragusin gets a starting place at Tottenham, the London side will soon have a chance to make a big profit with his sale.

“If he’s a starter, he’ll sell for €100m two years. If he starts! I was reading that the English were angry with Manea (Dragusin’s talkative agent). He gave him positive publicity, it’s not negative,” said Dragomir.

Dragusin reportedly cost Tottenham €25m, with Spurs engaging in a long January chase for a new centre-back, while Eric Dier departed to Bayern Munich.

The Romanian media has been very proud to see the 21-year-old moving to the Premier League, especially with his agent frequently giving them details of how the negotiations had been going.

Dragusin is still quite young and undoubtedly has some potential to improve, now we shall see how much he’ll be worth in a couple of seasons. For now, he still needs to find his place in Ange Postecoglou’s side, and everything can progress from there.
