It’s been evident that Real Madrid have problems on the field if reports coming out of Spain are to be believed, one of the problems off the field is offloading Gareth Bale in the summer.
On May 17th, Marca reported that the option to return to Tottenham Hotspur is now seriously ‘on the table’.
It was explained the Wales international held a two-hour long meeting with his agent Jonathan Barnett on Wednesday, and they’re trying to find a home.
El Confidencial now talks about the forward’s potential exit from Madrid and it’s suggested they may have wanted to make a goodbye video, just like Atletico Madrid did for Antoine Griezmann.
However, the problem here is the 29-year-old cannot speak Spanish, another annoyance for the club.
Zidane does not want include him in his plans for next season and has already sent a clear message by dropping him from the squad.
This has been one of the reasons he’s been devalued and even if he manages to stay at the Spanish capital club, the player will be struggling for playing time.
Everything is focused towards an exit, and that’s brought in claims of a possible loan deal, which is perhaps why Tottenham are now seen as a realistic destination.
