Nottingham Forest are reportedly still to take a decision regarding the future of Licá.

The 28-year-old has spent the last six months on a loan at Estoril, and given the strong interest from the Portuguese side to keep him, there’s the possibility he will remain in his home country.

This Saturday, newspaper A Bola claims that Estoril have already made an offer to extend the loan for one season further, but still haven’t had a response from Nottingham Forest.

Licá’s contract at the Championship side expires next year, so in case the loan is renewed, the club should extend his contract or he will be able to leave for free at the end of the spell.

A Bola says Estoril will ‘fight until the end’ to have the player. So it seems that even with only one goal and one assist for the club, he’s managed to leave a very good impression there.
