As Tottenham Hotspur are said to be in instense talks with Sporting for the signing of Bruno Fernandes, it seems the London side have forgotten a little about another one of their targets.
Catalan outlet Sport brings a story about Real Betis’ transfers today, covering Junior Firpo moving to Barcelona, but also claiming Giovanni Lo Celso’s departure seems ‘stopped’ for now.
The reason for that is the ‘poor communication’ between Tottenham and Betis recently.
It’s said Spurs stopped along the way since their offer was considered to be ‘insufficient’ by the Spanish side. The club from Sevilla want more than €60m.
So it sounds like by now, the Premier League club are pretty aware of Betis’ demands for Lo Celso and Sporting’s demands for Bruno Fernandes.
And with only four days until the end of the transfer window, fans expect at least one of those to be signed by Tottenham.
