Outlet Record shares a story claiming the player did not take part in Sporting’s training session on Thursday morning.
It’s claimed that the player did go to the training centre, but his visit was only to gather his belongings, as he didn’t even step on the pitch.
According to reports from Portuguese newspapers on Thursday morning, Everton have been in touch with the player’s agent to sort out the final details of the move.
The Toffees are reportedly spending €15m on the signing. The Lions just made a big investment to get Viktor Gyokeres from Coventry City, and as it had always been clear the youngster woudln’t get many minutes this season, his departure isn’t something for them to be very worried about.
