As Alberto Moreno’s contract with Liverpool come close to an end, his possible return to Sevilla is a more frequent topic in the Spanish press.
On Monday, it’s local outlet El Desmarque who reports that the fullback’s departure from the Reds is becoming a reality at Anfield.
The website writes that the player’s exit is ‘taking strength’ at the Premier League club, where it’s already believed that he’s walking for free at the end of the season.
El Desmarque takes previous quotes to say that it’s possible that Moreno could return to Sevilla, as he has promised to go back to his old club one day.
It’s claimed that Moreno is not playing for the Reds due to his contractual situation, making him a third option after Andy Robertson and Adam Lewis.
Moreno signed for Liverpool on a €18m deal from Sevilla in 2014. He’s made 137 appearances in his career for the club so far.
