Brentford have set their sights on signing Mathias Jensen of Celta Vigo, if reports are to be believed.
According to Danish publication BT, the Championship side are expected to sign the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window.
The midfielder was signed by the Vigo club from FC Nordsjælland and went on to make only three starts in the league in his debut season in La Liga. He plans to leave his current employer in the ongoing window.
The Bees have already signed Christian Nørgaard from Fiorentina and the report explains that Brentford will continue bringing in more Danish players as Jensen is making a switch to Griffin Park.
Jensen will be hoping to get more playing at Brentford than he had at Celta last season.
Should he complete his move to the English club, he’ll be managed by his compatriot Thomas Frank and will also be teammates with his Nørgaard, Emiliano Marcondes, Henrik Dalsgaard and Justin Shaibu.
