Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Jesús Vallejo is about to leave the club, according to claims from Spain today.
Mundo Deportivo claims that the player will have his loan spell cut short with the Premier League side, as he’s about to accept an offer from Granada.
It’s said the the 23-year-old also has offers from Eintracht Frankfurt and Leganés, but he’s chosen Granada, and should soon be officially announced.
Following Éder Militão’s arrival at Real Madrid, the player lost space in the Galacticos squad, and that’s why he joined Wolves on a one-year loan spell last summer.
But things haven’t been very different for him at Molineux.
He’s made seven appearances for the club so far, and according to Mundo Deportivo, the lack of playing time is the main reason he’s choosing to move out of the club this month.
When he was given chances, Vallejo wasn’t able to impress, so he can hardly feel wronged.
The outlet says the transfer should be made official ‘in the coming hours’.
