Tottenham Hotspur sacked Nuno Espírito Santo last November and immediately appointed Antonio Conte as his successor.
Since the Italian arrived at the north London club, their record in the league has improved as they have suffered only two defeats in the last 11 matches. Those two losses came in their previous two ties against Chelsea and Southampton.
Conte wanted Spurs to bolster his squad in the winter market and they did so by signing Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus towards the end of the window.
The Sweden international joined the Premier League side on a loan deal, with an option to buy, which will be made compulsory if certain set conditions are met.
Kulusevski made his debut for Tottenham when he came off the bench in their FA Cup win over Brighton & Hove Albion. He made his league debut against Southampton earlier this week.

Sky Italia spoke to the attacking midfielder and the full interview will be published later today. Momentidicalcio.com have managed to get some snippets of the discussion with the Swede.
On Conte’s arrival at Tottenham, he said: “I saw their training, it has surprised me: (like) another sport, faster, more intense, with sprints and physique.”
The former Parma star also spoke about his struggles under Massimiliano Allegri at the Turin club this season.
“What went wrong with Allegri’s Juventus? I don’t know, sometimes football is like that. I have found less space. I have not been able to show what I have inside of me,” Kulusevski explained.
“Life goes on, I’ve had as many highs, like at the end of last year: now I’m at Tottenham and I’m very happy here.”
