As the Brazilian media covers the national team’s training camp in London, they consider Fred’s move to Manchester United pretty much done.
Most of the reporters doing the coverage know about the midfielder’s transfer to the Premier League side, and website Globo Esporte continues to bring some pretty accurate information about the move.
On Tuesday, they claim that the player has returned to the camp from his day off already as a Manchester United player.
As previously reported by them, the midfielder travelled to Manchester on Sunday after Brazil’s match against Croatia, which was played at Anfield.
He had his medical at Carrington, but went to Manchester United’s office in London to sign a five-year contract. According to Globo Esporte, that’s all done already.
Now Globo Esporte says that Fred already posed for pictures and videos at Carrington, before travelling to sign the contract.
The outlet also claims that the player’s agents Fabio Mello and Gilberto Silva were impressed with Manchester United’s facilities and the level of attention from club employees.
On Monday evening, Tino Marcos and Galvão Bueno, who have followed the Brazilian national team for decades, both made a night report for Globo from London, and had some comments about the Manchester United move.
Tino Marcos claimed he had spoken to Fred some time ago, and the player was really wanting things to be sorted as soon as possible so he could focus on the national team. The midfielder himself told the reporter that there was a battle between City and United for his signature.
