AC Milan have been chasing Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal for most part of this summer.
Earlier this month, Sky Italia reported the Serie A side have cooled their interest in the right-back, after refusing to meet the €20m fee requested by Tottenham.
On Tuesday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported Milan have returned for the 25-year-old, and hope to close a deal in the next few days.
PL Brasil picks up on that and provides more on the Rossoneri’s efforts to sign him. As well as the Italian club, Galatasaray have shown interest in the defender.
The north London club have rejected two bids from Milan, who have now presented the third offer to reach the €20m demanded by Spurs.
Milan haven’t yet found an agreement with Ange Postecoglou’s side. The report states they are ‘close to reaching an agreement’ and the fullback is expected to seal a move to the San Siro.
The Brazil international will sign a five-year contract when Milan agree a deal with Spurs.
Emerson is Milan’s ‘old wish’ as they tried to sign him in January. He’s also wanted by clubs in Saudi Arabia, but the report states it would be difficult for him to pick them over playing in the Champions League with Milan.
