Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is stalling on signing for Brighton and Hove Albion despite the clubs agreeing on a deal, because he is ‘eagerly awaiting’ an offer from Borussia Dortmund.

That’s according to Sports World Ghana, who say the player is holding out on the Seagulls in the hope of being able to move to the Bundesliga.

The website reports that despite reports Brighton have struck an agreement with Brighton to sign Kudus this summer, there is still no agreement between them and the player.

Reports this week have indicated that both Brighton and Ajax have started to put deadlines on the player as they look to push a deal through, but it seems that’s not made a difference to him.

Sports World Ghana explain that despite being given an ‘ultimatum’ to reach an agreement with the English club, he hasn’t offered Brighton any feedback yet.

Their sources have revealed that’s because the player and his representatives are eagerly awaiting a ‘concrete offer’ from the Bundesliga and specifically Borussia Dortmund.

Kudus ‘genuinely dreams’ of donning their shirt and so he is holding Brighton at arm’s length in the hope they come calling sooner rather than later.
