Earlier on Wednesday we covered claims from Spain that Denis Suarez was set to travel to London today to complete his transfer to Arsenal.
After weeks of ups and down in negotiations between the Gunners and Barcelona, a compromise was found this week which will see the player extend his contract by a single year and move to the Premier League club on loan for the rest of the season.
Sport take claims from RAC1 (a Catalan radio station) to say the Spaniard ‘is already in London’, probably meaning he arrived this morning, and will go through his medical to join Arsenal ‘shortly’.
As long as that goes ok, and no issues are predicted, then the announcement can be made and Denis will join Unai Emery’s squad, something he’s seemingly wanted to do all of January.
