Player already in England to complete Man United transfer – Medical to take place today

It seems like a matter of hours until Antony’s transfer to Manchester United is complete.

According to the latest updates from UOL journalist Bruno Andrade, the player is already in England to sign his contract with the Red Devils.

It’s said the winger is having his medical today, and then will be ready to have his €100m transfer confirmed.

Earlier today, we had already seen TNT Sports in Brazil claiming that the player would have his medical and be announced by Manchester United today. It was said he’s expected to sign a five-year contract with the club.

The report claimed that due to paperwork and the change of countries, the player shouldn’t be available for the Red Devils’ match against Leicester City on Thursday, but Erik ten Hag’s idea would be keen to have him in the squad for the game versus Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Antony is set to become Manchester United’s fifth signing in the summer window, following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro.
