The Italian media doesn’t sound very confident that AC Milan can fight Newcastle United to sign Tosin Adarabioyo.

MilanLive shares a story highlighting the Rossoneri’s interest in the defender, who could leave Fulham as a free agent this summer.

It’s pointed out that Adarabioyo is being ‘examined’ by Milan, as he’s ‘desired’ by them for the next transfer market.

However, speaking of competition, the report claims Newcastle are also ‘very interested’ and can actually offer him a ‘far superior contract’ than the Rossoneri.

With a little bit of hope, MilanLive points out that the Magpies haven’t reached a contract agreement with the player yet, as the 26-year-old is still evaluating his options.

Adarabioyo joined Fulham back in 2020, when he signed from Manchester City’s academy. Despite a small operation he had at the start of the season, he’s made 25 appearances for the Whites so far this campaign.

The centre-back is also expected to receive other offers from the Premier League this summer, and we shall see if Newcastle will actually make an attempt. It just seems clear that Milan are unlikely to have big chances to compete.
