Thursday’s edition of Il Sole 24 Ore states the Pozzo family, who own Watford and Udinese, are in the process of ‘share reorganising’ at their clubs. The report explains the ‘negotiations are underway’ and is in a ‘crucial phase with an entity from the United States.

890 Fifth Avenue are a New York based group, that specialises in technology, media and telecommunications industry. They are in talks with the Pozzo family to become partners at both the English club and the Serie A side.

Gino Pozzo concentrates on Watford and has been living in London for the past few years. It’s said the Hornets chief has been leading discussions with the American group.

Both the Championship side and Udinese should be in the ‘process of share reorganising’, which could see the Pozzo family earn a hefty sum in the process.

Some aspects related to the economics of the operation are being studied in recent weeks.

Il Sole 24 Ore point out that an ‘ad hoc company should be created for the transfer’ and the overall cost of the deal should be in excess of €200m.

It’s further explained the ‘share reorganisation’ of both Watford and the Serie A side ‘enters a final phase’.

If the negotiations between the Pozzo family and 890 Fifth Avenue succeed, then both Watford and Udinese will have an American partner.
