Real Sociedad’s local media have their own take on Sandro Ramirez potentially moving to the club from Everton this week, and it’s a little different to others in Spain.
Diario Vasco say negotiations between the two clubs are ‘on the right track’ and there’s no mention of wages being an issue for the player.
Elsewhere it had been reported that Sandro’s high salary was out of the reach of La Real, and therefore Everton would have to continue paying a percentage.
The problem, according to Diario Vasco, is that Everton are currently deciding whether to let Sandro leave on loan or to sell Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig. The German club remain interested in the player, despite Everton holding firm and pushing the price up.
Sandro is considered a good fit for the La Liga club, complementing the attacking options already in place. Whilst there’s hope a deal can be done, Real Sociedad are also looking at other options.
