Rynninges midfielder Viktor Hallin has spoken to the Swedish media about the contact he had with West Ham United ahead of his trial with the Premier League club next week.

The 17 year old reportedly impressed the Hammers whilst playing for the Örebro club when the London side sent scouts to Sweden.

Fotboll Direkt have reported on comments the young midfielder made to NA.se when quizzed about the interest from West Ham: “It’ll be a lot of fun, I’m very happy. I talked to them days after they were here, and they said they liked my ability to push the ball forward at speed and getting forward. That’s what they saw immediately.”

It’s reported Hallin will travel to London on Sunday ahead of his week’s trial with the English club’s reserve team. It’s also been revealed the youngster will take part in a game whilst in the country.

This will be a big jump for the young Swede with his club currently playing in the Swedish third division.

Hallin only signed professional forms for Rynninges at the start of the year and made his debut for the Swedish club earlier this season.

The player will turn 18 years old next month.
