Manchester United were disappointed to come away from Stamford Bridge with a point on Saturday, having been so close to taking all three and Chelsea’s unbeaten record along with it.
Jose Mourinho will have been pleased with the performance of several of his team, and that has to include Anthony Martial.
Two goals from the Frenchman made the victory seem likely until Ross Barkley managed to bundle a goal over the line deep into injury tome.
Martial was chosen to start ahead of Alexis Sanchez. That will either have been down to form or that the Chilean played his last international match on Wednesday morning in Mexico.
Martial was given a 7.5/10 mark, which is good for the very hard to please Italian newspaper. He’s one of three Premier League players to find a place, the Manchester United man being joined by David Silva and Antonio Rudiger.
Anthony Martial has now scored four goals so far this season, and three in his past two matches.
