Manchester City’s efforts to sign a couple of Fluminense youngsters continues being detailed by the Brazilian media.
The club’s interest in 17-year-old striker Kayky was first reported at the start of the week, when it was said they’d fight Shakhtar Donetsk and Liverpool for his signing.
Things got a little more serious on Wednesday afternoon. Globo Esporte featured a piece saying the Ukrainian side are officially bidding for the teenager, they added the information that the City Football Group isn’t only interested in him, but in another Fluminense wonderkid as well.
Now the latest updates from Goal Brasil bring a few more details. They claim that Manchester City are offering Fluminense an amount of €10m for the duo.
The Premier League side are side to be rushing against the competition from Shakhtar Donetsk, who offered €5m plus €10m in bonuses for Kayky.
It’s said there hasn’t been any response from the Ukrainian side so far. Since both players are 17, they must wait for a few months before completing any move.
