As the Italian media today shares a fresh story on the future of AC Milan youngster Francesco Camarda, Manchester City are again named as one of the potential destinations for him.

It’s Calciomercato who now write about the 15-year-old, claiming the Rossoneri have a ‘clear project’ to hand the player a professional contract as soon as he turns 16 after the expectations around him have ‘grown exponentially’.

Camarda is the youngest debutant in the history of Serie A, and Milan are now said to be wondering whether they should keep him at the club or loan him out somewhere else.

First, though, they need to extend his deal.

While they don’t have his stay guaranteed, the ‘European battleships’ are interested in taking him away, and Manchester City are said to be those ‘in the lead’.

The Cityzens’ interest in the player has been reported since September of last year, when it was first claimed they were ‘convinced‘ to try to land him.

The fact that he doesn’t have a professional contract with Milan yet gives him the choice to sign for either Manchester City or the Rossoneri in the next couple of months.

We’ll see who will place the most convincing arguments on the table.
