Manchester City are one of the clubs to have shown interest in Isco in the past, but they couldn’t get him out of Real Madrid.
The Citizens haven’t forgotten about Isco if a report from today’s Mundo Deportivo is to be believed.
Although Zinedine Zidane has said no one will move out of the club in the coming weeks, the report states three players could leave the La Liga winners in January.
The attacking midfielder is among them and the newspaper explains he has ‘already let’ Los Blancos know he wants to leave the club in search of regular playing time.
Isco’s goal is to re-enter Luis Enrique’s Spain plans and having more minutes will help him achieve it.
The 28-year-old is aware it will be difficult to feature regularly with Real Madrid, which is why he has ‘communicated his intentions’ to his employer.
According to Mundo, there are clubs ‘interested’ in the former Malaga star and those includes manchester City, Juventus and Napoli. Isco, however, wants to join Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla.
His contract lasts until 2022 and Real Madrid are demanding €50m to sanction the player’s sale. In addition to this, the midfielder earns a net salary of €6.5m per season. Considering these factors, Mundo add a loan would be a ‘solution’ for Isco this month.
