On March 4th, we carried a report from Tuttosport, who explained Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is a big admirer of Marcos Alonso and the Nerazzurri will make an attempt for the Chelsea player in the summer.
Conte signed the Spain international for the Blues from Fiorentina, when the former was in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The left-back’s best seasons with the west London club came under Conte’s guidance and ‘for this reason’, the Italian coach wants to sign the 29-year-old for the Serie A club, claims Calciomercato.
Chelsea have slapped a €30m valuation on Alonso, which is deemed expensive for the San Siro side. The player’s asking price is slowing Inter ‘a little bit’, but they will try to sign him after this season.
It’s claimed Victor Moses [who is currently on loan from Chelsea] and Kwadwo Asamoah will not be at Inter next season. Inter are planning a ‘revolution’ in the fullback position and Alonso’s name is top of Conte’s list.
Chelsea are interested in FC Porto’s Alex Telles. The outlets states ‘An ex-Inter [Telles] who can favour… Inter’ in helping them sign Alonso.
