Inter Milan’s chase for Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso is featured by Italian newspaper Tuttosport on Wednesday.
The outlet says manager Antonio Conte is a big admirer of the fullback, and should be making a new attempt to take him from Stamford Bridge.
It’s said the former Blues manager had already tried to take him to Italy in the January window, but his personal problems with the London side made things even harder than they would have been anyway.
The legal issues between club and manager were one of the reasons why Chelsea demanded €40m for the left-back, with Inter Milan having to give up temporarily.
Tuttosport reports Conte remains pretty focused on signing the Spaniard, and even though the negotiations shouldn’t be easy, Inter Milan are making a new attempt to get him in the summer.
In case the Nerazzurri fail to get him, then they have a list of alternatives. That includes another Chelsea left-back, Emerson Palmieri, who’s been in a long fight against Alonso for a place in the Blues’ starting team.
