According to Turkish newspaper Sozcu, Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal has identified three players who he believes will bring the league title to Yellow Canaries this season.
One of those is reportedly Everton forward Cenk Tosun as they look to bolster their attacking options. The Turkish striker has been struggling to get games for the Toffees this season, and his recent performances have also been unconvincing.
Tosun could leave the Merseyside club in January to get regular first-team football ahead of the Euros next summer, and Sozcu believe Fenerbahce could provide him with that opportunity.
It’s reported Yanal has met with club’s board this week to outline his transfer plans, and he believes signing the Everton player would be a shrewd piece of business for the Yellow Canaries.
Sozcu say Yanal would partner Vedat Muriqi and Cenk Tosun together, if they can persuade the attacker on a return to the Super Lig.
Everton’s stance with regards to the player is unknown but they may be tempted to loan him out until the end of the season.
