It doesn’t matter if there is a pandemic going on, Manchester United remain a name that goes alongside potential bids of €100m+.

That’s the price they will likely have to pay for Sergej Milinković-Savić if they were to pursue that avenue, and it’s what they would allegedly have to fork out if they want Kalidou Koulibaly as well.

As you all know by now (if you don’t, then where on earth have you been these past few months/years), United keep circling around the Senegalese defender, and even made a £100m+ bid last summer that was rejected by Aurelio De Laurentiis (which he likes to remind everyone about on a weekly basis).

Still, that hasn’t put off Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. as Corriere dello Sport continue to believe Manchester United (alongside Paris Saint-Germain) are ‘ready to go a little crazy’ for the centre-back, whom Napoli had valued at €100m before Covid-19 brought the world to a stop.

However, with clubs unlikely to have as much money this summer due to lack of ticket revenue and all the other marketing (plus TV income etc…), prices are expected to go down as clubs look to cash in, meaning this could be the time for the Premier League side (who still generate ridiculous amounts of cash) to take advantage of the situation.

We’ll have to wait and see, but the fact this continues to be pushed cannot be ignored.

We genuinely wish we could, because it’s getting a bit repetitive and all that, but we stuck by the whole Bruno Fernandes saga, so we owe it to Kalidou Koulibaly to see this one through too, regardless of the outcome.
