Manchester United are interested in Real Madrid youngster Marvel, one of the ‘pearls’ of the Spanish side’s youth set up.
That’s according to Bernabeu Digital, who say the young centre back is also one of the ‘great promises’ of Spanish football.
La Fabrica has long been a producer of top talent, with a string of talent emerging at the club and either starring at the Bernabeu or elsewhere.
The current crop is also highly thought of, with the likes of Antonio Blanco, Sergio Arribas, Marvin Park and Miguel Gutiérrez already making the step up to the first team.
The long production line of talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, and according to BD, the best clubs in the world have their ‘focus’ on who could be the next talent to emerge, which has led them to Marvel.
He’s considered one of the ‘great promises’ of the Madrid youth academy and Spanish football in general, and because of this, Manchester United have ‘decided to look at signing him’.
They’ve asked for reports from several of their scouts who work in Madrid on the youngster who has become a ‘fundamental pillar’ of Raúl González’s Real Madrid Castilla team.
Manchester United have a history of signing talent from La Fabrica, with the likes of Alvaro Carreras and Alejandro Garnacho already making the move in recent years.
Marvel could be the latest to join them, with United already setting their scouts to work and thinking of doing a deal.
