Having made only two starts in all competitions this season, Spanish reports have suggested Barcelona will allow Jean-Clair Todibo to leave the Camp Nou in January.

Southampton, Watford, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen have been credited with an interest in the centre-back.

On December 20th, Sport reported Manchester United have ‘entered very strong’ for the 19-year-old and their emissaries travelled to Barcelona to hold talks with the La Liga winners for the Frenchman.

Two days later, the same newspaper explained the Catalan club have received offers from the Red Devils, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen for Todibo and Barca will accept a transfer, provided a buyback option is included as a part of the deal.

AS have now joined Sport in discussing Manchester United’s interest in the defender.

Today’s edition of the Spanish newspaper states: ‘In recent weeks the interest of Manchester United and Milan has emerged, although teams such as Leverkusen have also asked about his situation.’

It’s claimed Ernesto Valverde’s side want to negotiate Todibo’s exit, but Barca technical secretary Eric Abidal and his assistant Ramon Planes will only consider allowing the player to leave if there’s a chance of his return in the future.
