The days after the transfer window deadline are always good to get some stories straight and get to know what really happened in those tense hours.
Italian website Calcio Mercato brings today a piece explaining the situation of Diogo Dalot, who’s reportedly wanted by Milan on a permanent deal now.
It’s been claimed by the English media on Monday that the Rossoneri were about to offer €17m for the fullback, and the news is now dismissed.
Calcio Mercato agrees that the player has been impressing in Italy, where his versatility is the reason why he gets many compliments at Milan.
The website, however, claims there’ve been no offers from Milan for Dalot so far. There’s the wish from the Serie A giants to keep him, but that will only be decided in the coming weeks, where all parties involved will discuss the move.
Dalot’s loan at Milan runs until the end of the season, and he has 16 appearances for the club so far. In case he returns to Manchester United, there’s a contract until 2023.
