When you’re 12 and you’re already being scouted by the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona, you must be doing something right.
Of course, being around 6’3” at that age certainly helps, and that’s why teams like Pep Guardiola’s side are taking an active interest in Paris Saint-Germain youngster El Chadaille Bisthiabu.
The centre-back was played in the U14s recently, in a 2-1 loss to Nantes, but didn’t look out of place, according to Le Parisien, even helping out with the attack from time to time.
At the club, they’re aware it’s far too soon to tell if this early promise will translate to a great career, but, size aside, they describe him as ‘full of qualities’.
Manchester City, alongside the Gunners, are said to have already enquired about the ‘phenomenon’, whose youth contract will expire at the end of the month.
Paris Saint-Germain would like him to sign an ‘non-solicitation agreement’ for the next few years, although his father still doesn’t know what his son will do next year.
For him, it’s all about school and development for now, with money being something they’ll deal with later.
Manchester City might have to wait then…
