Earlier on Thursday, we covered claims from Italy that Tottenham had started contacts to sign Gleison Bremer from Torino.
After all, the deal would make sense, since Antonio Conte prefers to play with three at the back, and Spurs need extra bodies to do that regularly.
The Brazilian has been in fine form this year, and has caught the eye with his performances, as Tottenham have been linked with him for a while.
That being said, it would come at a cost, with Gazzetta dello Sport stating that €50m would be the minimum, since his value keeps rising the more he excels.
While he didn’t mention Tottenham directly, Urbano Cairo, Torino’s president, confirmed one thing.
He said, relayed by FC Inter News: “There is a lot of interest, including from abroad, but let’s see. Wait and finish the season well, there are seven games to go, which isn’t nothing.”
This would point to the report from Gazzetta dello Sport being accurate, and it would make a lot of sense for Tottenham, with Fabio Paratici in charge of transfers and Conte at the helm, to be keen on a player greatly impressing in Serie A.
