Spending two seasons on loan at Arsenal, Dani Ceballos played fairly regularly for the Gunners, managing 77 appearances in his time there, scoring two goals and assisting another five.

However, he never appeared to convince enough to get the London side to try and make the move permanent, as they ended up spending their money elsewhere.

That being said, he did catch the eye of another Premier League side, as Liverpool are now reportedly interested.

This comes from FC Inter News, who explain that amid Inter keeping an eye on the situation, they are aware they aren’t the only ones.

Real Betis really like him, and ‘could be a serious contender, especially if they qualify for Europe’, while Valencia should be there as well.

As for the Premier League, ‘after the experience with Arsenal, today Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Ceballos’.

For Inter, this means that ‘timing is decisive’ if they do want to make a move, because it’s no secret that competing with English clubs in transfer battles is never easy.

As for Liverpool, they are in need of extra bodies in their midfield, but whether Ceballos is what they need remains to be seen.

He would, however, arrive at Anfield with Premier League experience from his time at Arsenal, which could help him settle in rather quickly.
