Arsenal continue to be named as one of the contenders for the signing of Palmeiras midfielder Danilo, this time in an update brought by Jorge Nicola.
The journalist today features a video claiming there are six clubs who are interested in signing the Brazilian, who’s been having an impressive year at his club.
Nicola managed to find out the name of four of them, and one is, of course, Arsenal. The other three are all from France: Lille, Monaco and Olympique Marseille.
Now with many clubs joining the race for the midfielder, Palmeiras have made a re-evaluation of his price ahead of a summer transfer, making his agent aware of that.
Giuliano Bertolucci is said to be informed that despite the initial price tag of €20m at the start of the year, the club no longer accepts negotiating for less than €25m.
Nicola also affirms that there’s no offer from Arsenal or any other club for the player just yet.
