Liverpool youngster Fabio Carvalho has been ‘recommended’ to Galatasaray for next season as the Reds look to loan him out to aid his development.
That’s according to Takvim, who say that the club’s technical committee have their eyes on the midfielder after he was offered to them by agents.
They explain that Galatasaray are planning for next season already, with the intention to strengthen their squad and be title contenders again next year.
They have already contacted numerous clubs, footballers and agents about possible moves and a new name has ‘entered the agenda’ after those contacts.
Reports in England have made it clear that Liverpool are looking to loan out the 20-year-old next year after a difficult start to life on Merseyside since a move in the summer.
Jurgen Klopp wants him to get regular playing time and accelerate his development away from Anfield and because of that his agents are in contact with various clubs. Galatasaray is one of them they have offered their client to.
The Turkish side are yet to make a move, but the club’s management will ‘take the necessary steps’ for a transfer dependent on the report they receive from their technical committee.
That doesn’t mean a move is likely by any means, but the option is certainly there as Carvalho and his agents weigh up their options for next season.
