Liverpool tracking target for past 3 months, fits their profile, now down to recruitment team

According to TRT Spor journalist Serkan Akkoyun, Liverpool have been scouting Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz and are impressed with what they have seen from the 23 year old.

In recent days the Turkey international has been linked with Liverpool, along with fellow Premier League club Arsenal.

Akkoyun says Liverpool’s scouting team have been following Dorukhan’s performances for the past three months and have watched almost every game the midfielder has played in during this period.

It’s claimed information from the scouting reports shows the Besiktas player fits the profile Liverpool are looking for and now the recruitment staff will decide what to do next. Quite how they’d know what the reports say is anyone’s guess.

The Turkish journalist also reports Tokoz could leave Besiktas in order to play in one of the major league in Europe.

Tokoz impressed for the Super Lig club in his debut season after joining from Eskisehirspor for €150K last summer. He’s under contract at the Vodafone Arena until June 2021.
