Liverpool and Inter Milan are ‘on the lookout’ for Valencia’s Yunus Musah, according to Fichajes.net.
The 20-year-old left Arsenal for the La Liga side’s academy in 2019 and was promoted to their first team a year later. He has been a regular for Los Ches, making 87 league appearances since the start of the 2020/21 season.
Valencia, who are currently in the relegation zone, risk dropping out of the top division. The situation has made the midfielder consider leaving the Mestalla in the summer.
It’s claimed the American is ‘one of the great requests’ of Reds manager Jürgen Klopp for next season as he would ‘fit perfectly’ into his style of football at Anfield.
Inter could see Nicolò Barella or Marcelo Brozović move away from the San Siro after this season and that’s why they are looking at Musah.
Liverpool and Inter haven’t yet made an official offer for the American. Valencia, for their part, are ‘waiting’, likely to receive offers from his suitors. There should be more clarity on Musah’s future in the next few weeks.
If Valencia are relegated from La Liga, many players, including Musah, could leave them in the summer.
