Liverpool have agreed the sale of Brazilian midfielder Allan, according to claims from South America on Monday.
According to website Globo Esporte, the Reds have accepted a €3m bid from Atletico Mineiro for the 22-year-old.
Allan spent last year on loan at Fluminense, who were also fighting to get him on a permanent deal. São Paulo were said to be interested as well.
Globo Esporte, who are usually pretty reliable, say Atlético Mineiro are still to confirm the deal, but should announce the signing later this week. Allan is expected to sign a four-year deal with the club, and Liverpool are keeping 20% of a future sale.
Earlier today, Fluminense president Mario Bittencourt claimed the Reds rejected their latest bid because they wanted to pay in several instalments.
The Premier League side said there was another club willing to pay the same fee in cash, and it turns out they weren’t bluffing.
UOL had reported a €4m offer from Atletico Mineiro, however, Globo Esporte believe the transfer will be concluded for less than that.
